Air quality briefing walk
iOS · for journalists
Built for this briefing’s air quality walk. Start recording when you set off, capture the route and what people along it were breathing, then export the day for notes and follow-up.

The app logs journeys and stops. When you confirm these, NO₂ / O₃ / PM₁₀ / PM₂.₅ exposure are calculated for each, so you can see where pollution varied along the route.
As you move through the day Reporter Briefing builds a timeline of your day and calculates an ongoing time-weighted average for each pollutant.
Export a CSV or GeoJSON of your day from the button next to the Average toggle to review your data for the story.
Matches the in-app onboarding copy from Brand.swift (Reporter Briefing / build 162).
One install for the air quality outing — route, exposure, and a timeline you can talk to on the street.
Exposure estimates use Environmental Research Group modelled air quality for London.
Timeline stays on the phone; you choose what to export and share after the walk.
